Burly for Mac

Burly is a free browser and profile picker for macOS that puts you in control of where links open. Keep work, personal, and client accounts separate without copying URLs between windows or landing in the wrong account.

Set Burly as your default browser, then click a link in Mail, Slack, Messages, or another app. A flower-shaped picker blooms under your cursor, letting you choose the exact browser and profile with a click or keystroke. Burly works with your existing browsers, then gets out of the way.

Features

• Choose the profile, not just the browser. Open links directly in individual browser profiles, including Safari profiles. Burly automatically discovers profiles as you add, rename, or remove them.
• Keyboard-first control. Assign shortcuts to your profiles, press 0 in the picker to use your last-used destination, or use global hotkeys to open a new tab in a specific profile from anywhere.
• Pick when you need to. Skip when you don't. Hold a modifier key to bypass the picker and open your last-used destination or a fixed browser profile. Invert the behavior to open links directly by default and summon the picker only when needed.
• Make the picker yours. Reorder or hide profiles, customize their appearance and shortcut keys, and reduce animations.
• Stay out of the way. Burly lives in your menu bar, supports launch at login, and lets you hide its menu bar icon while keeping its shortcuts and picker available.
• Keep routing private. Link routing happens locally on your Mac. Burly does not collect your browsing history, opened links, or personal data.
